Why We Do What We Do

We travel around and ask people to sign a quilt block.  People we see everywhere.  These are clerks, waitresses and /or waiters, and people we meet where we visit.

We ask for a signature and a prayer request. We also tell them that it is a prayer quilt. We give them a small gift of hard candy, a small woven pocket cross with a nail file, a tract, and a card with our information.

We do this because of our commitment to Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5:20 it says: “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us, we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled God.”

Therefore, we are merely ambassadors of Christ doing what He has asked us to do.
